Westport Adult 3-Wheel Bike

I absolutely love my 3-wheel bike. I don't have to worry about turning over as I would with a regular 2-wheel bike. It is actually fun to get exercise I need. I thought of it as a "Grandma bike", but my six year old grandson has been trying to talk me into letting him have it, our pregnant niece likes to ride it, and my son-in-law likes it, too. Everyone wants to ride my bike. My husband had no problems with assembly. Because it folds, it's easy to take with us when we travel. It truly meets all my expectations.

I have a 7 year old daughter that is partially disabled. The bike is easy to peddle and is very stable. The hand break is good and the ability for her to rotate the peddle back with no resistance to allow her to move her foot into a better position to peddle again is also a great feature. The bike has given her greater mobility and allowed her to fit in with the other children.

Extremely well made and durable. Looks cool too. It is great on flat surfaces but it's hard to make it up a hill. Your weight is all on the back so the front wheel spins when you try to climb up slanted surface.

Holding up quite well since Santa brought them to two 5 year old boys. Grandma especially likes the tall flags on the back. Since they are low to the ground, this is great for visability.

I received this trike in perfect condition. My 29 year old son put it together for me. He did not have much trouble, needed an allen wrench and had to pick up a few bolts to finish. The tires are flat so I have to get an air pump before I ride it. But he pushed the trike as I rode in my hallway and it was so fun! As a 54 year old brain tumor survivor I have a problem with balance. I am 5' 1", 110 lbs, so this felt sturdy and fun. I may need a strap to help my foot stay on pedal. Easy to assemble, took more time to unpackage. Bolt on handlebars was very tight but I put the pipe for the bicycle seat on the end of the allen wrench to loosen. You don't need to be in shape to ride, go as slow as you'd like even though it's very easy to ride, more so than my last 2 wheel bike. Probably with the aluminum frame which I appreciate as it won't rust nor the stainless steel tire rim & spokes. I did buy a more comfortable seat - Schwinn. Many compliments but most of all it's fun to ride!

Bike arrivied well packed. The bike was a gift to my special needs son who can't ride a regular bike. Overall the bike was a great value and well built. The bike was not in too many pieces with some parts already built, nice feature. I only have negative comments about the instructions to put some of the parts together. They were poorly written and some instructions were written generically so they could be used with other bike configurations. The brake instruction was the worse! If you are not mechanically inclined you may need help puting some of it together. The front fender had a small dent as well but being a gift for a child who was dying to ride it I chose to not send it back and forego the hassle. My son love the bike! If not for the instructions and dent in fender I would have given it 5 stars.
